FULU MIZIKI returns with a powerful new single “Tia Mungwa Na Biloko” — Lingala for “Mama puts salt in the dish”. Much more than a title, it's a metaphor for the band’s mission: just as salt gives flavor to food, their music is crafted to infuse life with joy, strength, freedom and resilience.

Written by Daniel Bekila Delton and Bosele Bokungako Pitschou, both core members of the group, the track is a reflection on 2022 — a year of resistance and perseverance. Despite attempts to silence them, Fulu Miziki emerged stronger, channeling their energy into this vibrant, defiant anthem. The song is a celebration of resilience, a sonic declaration of unwavering positive energy in the face of adversity.

Each member of Fulu Miziki is a beatmaker and sound artisan, contributing to a collective sound that draws from a rich mix of styles and traditions. Their music carries urgent, hopeful messages — calls for unity, peace, collective liberation, and a passionate encouragement to the youth: work hard, keep going, and believe in yourselves.
